I can assure you that does nothing to improve the quality of the elected politicians. In fact, it ensures that the dumbest, most illiterate 51% pick the worst people because 'free stuff'.
I hate democracy. It is a fools game. Universal suffrage is why democracy always descends into Communism.
I was promised a Republic, not a filthy fucking democracy.
