It is official now: the new UN report finds we'll cross the 1.5°C warming limit very soon. Now what?
Two months ago we described the range of plausible climate trajectories ahead in this article (open access).
In short: it's like we're stuck in quicksand, where only an active pull can free us.
We are in the Age of Humans - the Anthropocene.
Our new article (open access) shows how even with a moderate future emissions scenario, global temperature will still be elevated by 3-4°C in the year 3000!
