Everyone seems to think that driving at the speed limit is too slow, but what is the "correct" speed then?
More importantly, how does one know what speed is correct and what isn't? Someone's "correct" speed is someone else's "too fast" or "too slow".
This is why there are speed limits set by national or local authorities. This isn't to say that speed limits are always reasonable or fit for purpose - and these limits do get reassessed and revised from time to time.
