I chopped and dropped my cowpea & sunn hemp patch today. The hemp were 7’ tall and beginning to put out flower buds. The peas were beginning to vine, flower and I had a few pea pods. It felt like time.

Tomorrow I will cover the clippings with #compost and let the bed sit until I’m ready to plant. Part of me is pessimistic that this will work well because I find #permaculture #gardening to be easily explained but difficult to practice. Maybe I will be surprised. 🧵 Gardening (npub1nw7…g0ek)
