**How I see AI**This thread is not an attempt to convince anyone about AI. The internet already has enough people doing that, often before breakfast.
I am not claiming to possess the truth, nor am I arguing against either “side.” I am trying to find a position I myself can live with as a human being, then put it into a form others can examine, challenge, and help me revise.
I find the current debate difficult. Between unconditional enthusiasm and categorical rejection, there often seems to be no room to breathe. I would like to borrow some oxygen.
