I felt like a shorter stroll today, so opted to explore a local wood, 15 minutes from our doorstep. Even one who walks as often as I suffers from the habit of neglecting what's nearest. I was amazed. It has to be the prettiest wood of all the places around and I now know where I'll be going for brief escapes
