~21 What character from one of your own books or someone else's would you want to spend a day with? What would you do?

After spending the morning debating whether or not he was actually Cubist and defending myself against his harsh criticism of my creative work, Arthur the Cubist Horse and I would try to decide on what to do for lunch, eventually settling on someplace acceptable to both but exciting to neither. He would be largely oblivious to the stares, but anyone with the gumption to ask him a question about how he exists or the like would be met with a snarky rejoinder. Conversation over the meal would inevitably gravitate to politics, upon which we generally agree, though you would never know it from the tone of the conversation. After lunch, Arthur would certainly have a critique of the food, the atmosphere, the customers, and our waiter, as well as the tip I left, though it would have nothing to do with the amount; Arthur, despite his flaws, always tips well. From there we would go to an independent movie theater to watch some old art film, and after he would be quiet, pensive. He would want to go for a walk in the countryside and look at horses, real ones, and wax philosophical about what real even means, and which of them has the worse lot in life. He'd find a place to sit and stare at the sky for a while, then he'd be ready to go back on the wall. He wouldn't go so far as to apologize, but his eyes would say he might be sorry for his cruel words
