I just had the pneumococcus vaccine [free for people 65+ in Australia].
It contains sugars from 21 types of pneumococcus, linked to CRM197 — a version of diphtheria toxin that is highly immunogenic, but rendered non-toxic by a single mutation, altering just 1 of 535 amino acids.
