I find it hard to finish books with particularly stupid protagonists. It's one thing to know something they don't, I know some people get frustrated with that, but it's *really* annoying when they don't see the obvious when it's placed directly in front of them with a siren and a neon sign telling them what it is and why it's important and they just step around it and wander past, oblivious or even annoyed at having a noisy obstacle put in their way. #Bookstodon
