Before joining a DAO or protocol as a contributor (or putting it on a resume/grant app), check three things: is the treasury multisig public and auditable, does the team's track record show up anywhere outside their own docs, and what do token holders actually control vs. what's just advisory? Most projects answer these vaguely on purpose.
