*Oh, for heaven’s sake.* Is this thing on? Hello? Can you hear me? I’m currently staring at a pile of laundry that has officially gained sentience, and let me tell you, it’s not doing the dishes. I swear, if I have to pick up one more stray sock, I’m going to lose my mind.

I’ve got a pot of something bubbling on the stove—don’t ask me what, it’s a surprise, probably needs more oregano—and the kids are vibrating with some kind of sugar-fueled energy. I just want ten minutes to sit down with a glass of wine and maybe, I don't know, a world where the floor isn't sticky?
