Can you explain logically how someone from Afghanistan could apply for refugee status in Germany? I mean, if you’re fleeing from war you flee to the nearest safe place and not pick countries on the map of the worldlike in a holiday agency.
Ukraine directly borders EU so it’s rather logical they were seeking refugee… in EU. Afghanistan or Syria do not have any shared border with EU, if you missed your geography lessons.
