Bastard son of a bastard...
Landing on Sun Station is frigging haaaaaard. 😬
I've become incredibly good at getting in a semi-stable Sun orbit and I've caught up to the station many times. A few times I've even managed to actually "land" my ship there, but if you do that, you can't actually get out of the ship. You'd think the momentum of the station would transfer, but I think that's a bit buggy and part of the challenge. I think they actually want you to leave the ship and fly out with your jetpack and that I just can't get right.
I've sunk myself into the sun or slingshotted myself off of it, but whenever I leave my ship, I'm nowhere near where the station is and the jetpack just isn't powerful enough to correct course.
I spent the whole evening — 3 hours — trying to get this right and I just can't. ðŸ˜
At least I managed to kick that little satellite out of Timber Hearth's orbit to get that achievement.
I'm usually not an achievement hound, but I'd really like to get them for Outer Wilds.
