There was another major earthquake in Japan today.
It's now officially been named the **2026 Kumamoto Earthquake**.
When a disaster gets an official name... you know it's serious.
Thankfully, my area wasn't affected, but Kumamoto was hit by a magnitude 7 earthquake.
The news is full of reports about an explosion at a large shopping mall, with around 30 people still trapped.
I was also surprised to hear the shaking was felt as far as the Shanghai area in China.
Please stay safe, everyone.
