It seems a bit disingenuous to clutch your pearls at the demise of “60 Minutes,” given the sale of CBS to Paramount and the hiring of Bari Weiss. What did you think was going to happen? Of course it’s all going to shit. The old system no longer works. We’re going to need a whole new idea, not a 20th century news magazine on the tee-vee. If you allow the Taliban to be in charge of media, this is what you’re going to get.
