I do think it’s significantly more difficult to communicate that vaccines can prevent or reduce the risk of chronic illnesses as well as infectious disease, so I’ll just say this:
I was 31 years old when I was diagnosed with a cancer (cervical) that can now be prevented with a vaccine (HPV).
