I'm on my annual renewal of my low income health card journey. One can only reapply 28 days before it expires. Estimated completion is usually 2 weeks after the HCC expiry date. So no doctor's visits or scripts during that time. Except that if it takes longer the expected date will disappear and you will be in limbo just waiting... Happens a lot. My personal record was more than 10 weeks and then I contacted Bill Shorten's office for help... Sorted out quite quickly then for some unknown reason.
