"content": "I've been frustrated the last 4 years that my beloved “hebi” (snake) cucumbers have produced almost nothing. Often there would be no female flowers, and when there were they'd just wither and die. So this year I've gotten out early to hand pollinate. I was surprised and delighted today when, Q-tip in hand, I noticed native pollinators at work.\n\nThis little beetle is less about 3mm in length.\n\n#Gardening #BloomScrolling #Cucumber #Flowers #VegetableGardening #Pollinators\nhttps://files.sfba.social/media_attachments/files/114/587/810/012/579/480/original/598c51f9d48cd976.jpg\n",
