4. They experiment with crypto, starting with stablecoins.

6. They try Bitcoin.
7. It works. It solves the problem. They gradually increase use.
In 2026 we have reached stage 4 as exemplified by stablecoin use in the oil trade by Venezuela, Russia, Iran.
Stage 5 will come very quickly the moment that stablecoin issuers freeze accounts (they have already done it in Venezuela).
I think we will see stage 6 in 2027-2028.
