I think in addition what also appalls me is the process of creating slop. A huge part of creating art for me is walking the way, the creative process until you have created an outcome that you like, that you wanted to create.
I often have very specific artistic outcomes in mind that I want to archive and often, literally walking the way to take a specific photograph at a specific time is what creates the art and joy in art for me. If people like my photos and drawn art, it’s because I enjoyed creating it, putting in the effort.
I don’t think I would enjoy playing the slot machine called genAI.
