Every accusation from these people is an admission.
Almost all of the (vanishingly small amount of) voter fraud that has been found was done by/on the part of Republicans.
All of the people who ran on releasing the Epstein files in the current admin are covering them up - partly out of malice and partly out of sheer incompetence.
The people who complain the other side can only win by rigging things…are trying to rig things because that’s the only way they can win.
And as you rightly noted - the “free speech absolutists” are stifling speech in this country more than anyone has in my lifetime.
The second amendment side of the aisle are saying someone deserved to be shot by ICE because they were (legally and without brandishing) carrying, and shouldn’t be allowed to take a gun to a protest (but Kyle Rittenhouse did nothing wrong!) - and the Jan 6th crowd that said they were “peaceful and loving” are intimidated by people actually peacefully protesting.
The “fuck your feelings” crowd had a collective anyeurism at the mere existence of a Super Bowl half time show in Spanish, and they probably don’t even realize the singer - from Puerto Rico - is American, because so it Puerto Rico.
And to top it all off - despite the q-anon “there’s a secret cabal of perdophiles!” people, their champion is most certainly a major customer of one, and every small tow local news story I seem to see about someone getting arrested for diddling kids it’s a MAGAt. Not a trans person, not a drag queen, not a “radical Marxist liberal.”
It’s frustrating, to say the least, how many people - despite the constant barrage of evidence - can’t see them for what they are. Instead it’s blind tribalism, near-constant panic and victimhood, and a staggering amount of cognitive dissonance.
