Trying to find where this picture came from because I found Argentina's presence there odd. This could be from something called Kaisermanöver, military exercises done by Germany that could've taken place anywhere between 1900 and 1914.

Military officers stationed in Berlin would be invited to watch the exercises. Over about 14 years since 1900, nearly 200 Argentine officers were sent to Germany to serve in commands, staffs, academies and units, and to attend manoeuvres and exercises.

We used to be going places. In fact, every country on that photo used to be going places. But for most of them, that place was WWI.
