I would not let the house go below 16-17°C, for my own comfort.
I would not let the interior temperature go below 10°C so as to have a very wide margin of error for avoiding freezing pipes.
So, except in the worst circumstances (multi-day loss of power in the winter time) I would not have to worry about 1°C in the house.
