Back in 2011, I paddled from Port Huron on Lake Huron to Grand Marais, Minnesota on Lake Superior. The trip was about 800 miles. It took 45 days. I wrote a story for Ocean Paddler Magazine, which folded back in 2020. This story was originally published there, but I wanted to make it available again.
