Every time you take a shower🚿
You’re essentially Grounding yourself.
When water flows from metal pipes connected to the Earth (especially older copper or steel plumbing), it carries a faint electrical potential from the ground.
As you stand under the running water, free electrons from the Earth can transfer through the water & onto your body, helping neutralize built-up charge.
This only works if the pipes are made of metal. If your home has PEX or PVC pipes, there’s no conductive path to the Earth, so the grounding effect is lost.
