I'd never heard of "Gleylancer" (1992) until yesterday, but it has the potential to dethrone Zero Wing as my favorite shooter on the Mega Drive.

It took me a bit to get used to the parallax scrolling in the first level. It looks good, but is very distracting. It does create a nice atmosphere once your brain tunes it out into the background. And I like the music.

So far I've made it to level three. It's not that it's very hard, I'm just not a very good player. 😅
