Every once in a while a scientific study comes out of #academia with what is for me, a “Duh” moment…one of those “How could they not have known this” reactions. An in my case, it makes me wonder how the previous model could have dominated the literature for so long. So here we have: A hidden bias in human language challenges 70 years of science - TL;dr turns out human language, the origins and functionality of words, is more based on “safety” and “order” than on emotion.
