It’s weird how FOLD hasn’t integrated lightning deposits. And their gift card purchase flow is not good either. I just had to send an onchain txn to FOLD, wait for confirmation, then sell the bitcoin to convert to dollars, then use the dollars to buy the gift card.
I just did all that 2 hours ago while in REI for their big yearly sale. Good thing I have an incredible sense of humor and can laugh at these sorta things! 🤣💀 I am calling for FOLD to immediately issue a Roadmap so we can figure out what the hell is going on.
Thankfully there are better options tho: purchasing gift cards using strike/bitrefill is v easy.
