So many articles on "how scientists will adapt" and "AI inevitability in science" these days! Speed and volume are not ends in themselves! If we prioritize efficiency over curiosity, we risk optimizing for what AI can do rather than what science is for.
They don't interrogate who benefits, who loses, and what we might permanently trade away. It treats disruption as destiny rather than a choice we can shape with better policies, values, and priorities.
