I've seen a few people rant that the problem with USonian anarchists is that we're too individualist and that we should be killing our egos and dissolving our relationships and dying for the hopeless but righteous cause.

Not a lot of people, but I'm astonished it's come up more than once.

EDIT: These were nominally anarchists, which was the surprising part.
