I switched over from a Kinesis Freestyle 2 when I started having wrist trouble, having used some Freestyle variant for a very long time before that.
There is a definite learning curve, mostly related to the columnar layout and not so much the keywords, I think. The first couple of weeks were frustrating but it got better after that. I can type on laptop keyboard just fine after switching, too.
