The roofer has been paid.
That was really difficult as the bank decided it could be fraud and asked me to phone their fraud number. That's fair.

That didn't work though as the [my bank] Bank kept saying they were not [some other bank] Bank! 🤷‍♀️
That happened twice and then they locked my account.

Trying to log into my account generated another fraud line number, the one on the back of the bank card.
That one produce an automated message 'This number is not in use.'! 🤦‍♀️

I then found another fraud line number and phoned that and arranged a call back.

That eventually sorted it and unlocked my account.
The roofer has been paid and has received the money.
Phew!

Just need to get the pointing done, and the scaffolding and skip removed.

Then we can rest and start saving up again.
