I keep coming back to these ideas and adiabatic circuits every couple months. My favourite fantasy in this realm is little bots that wait for a problem to solve, then take that problem with them as they crawl into a bath of liquid nitrogen so they can superconduct while they think and consume zero power until they crawl back out with their answer.
