Yeah I was confused
My grandma did the NY Times crossword puzzle every day, and only once in a while she got stumped on one. So she'd leave the paper on the table, open to that page, for my uncle to complete (he stopped by to see her every morning before going to work and she'd make him coffee to fill his thermos).
