The text scrolls underneath the solid color so it's no longer distracting. And the color tints the keyboard nicely.
The input view was moved into a glass container that picks up the same solid background and has a nice edge highlight.
When the inevitable edgeless screen designs appear, we'll let the solid color extend outside of the safe area.
