I assert that if done correctly, Emacs could be the best possible agentic/conversational computing platform out there at the moment due to two reasons:

1. Everything in Emacs is exposed via an API, meaning that the agent can do what agents do best: write and run programs.

2. In Emacs, the API documentation is directly tied to the implementation, so you are even less likely to have incorrect documentation, and if you do get it, it's easily corrected.

With multiple threads (which were introduced a few years ago) this could be a real game changer in FLOSS conversation computing, and it's almost untapped right now.
