I was in NOLA after Katrina and saw huge amounts of similar actions by police. There was one time that I was delivering blankets and food to some older men who had rode out the storm and were stranded. The police rolled up outside and used the bullhorn to demand we come out and throw down our guns. We said we didn't have any so they started shooting. The only thing that saved us from murder was the NG showed up and told them to fuck off.
