This, in fact, is the kind of work we've been asking you to do. ON YOUR OWN. Without being mothered through it using our uncompensated emotional labor that you tend to expect us to drop everything to offer you.

Be a fucking man who doesn't need his mommy. Go off, by yourself, or especially with other men, dig up your own core wounds, and work on them. Whether it's abusive women or abusive men who hurt you. Do that work without butting in to women's conversations who are doing our own work while *also* doing the systemic work that you *all* have failed to do all these generations.

And yes, if you're the kind of man to butt in an center yourself, then yes indeed, you are among of the category of men who hasn't gotten the message yet. Who hasn't started the work. Who still needs his mommy.

Do your own part to end #AbuseCulture which affects us all. Breaking the cycle was a manly trend for a minute in the 90s. Use your power to bring it back.

Men, you can talk about the shit you experienced without waiting for a woman to open up the conversation.

You don't need a jumping off point. You don't need someone to disagree with. You don't need a space or moment created by someone else.

You can talk about your issues & experiences on your own. You can create the space & choose the moment. They are *your* experiences.
