For today's chart challenge on "kinship", I wanted to try something around Aboriginal kinship systems but I was unable to find a suitable dataset or area to visualise.
The AustKin database website seems cool though, including kinship terminologies and social category systems from published and archival sources for over 607 Australian Aboriginal languages.
The University of Sydney also has a short video series online that covers the systems of social organisation that traditionally govern Aboriginal societies. It was a good watch:
