Wollies fucking sucks, but they have non-compete clauses built into their supplier contracts with local farmers. So the farmers who supply to Woolworths can't just sell to other clients or increase international sales or whatever. They straight up lose their sole buyer in like 6-7 months whilst they have overheads and cattle and etc, and who knows if the farmers will be allowed to start diversifying their clientele now or if the non-competes will be enforced during this transition period.
