Thank you, Paystand.

Associação FREE Madeira is a small non-profit with a big mission: making good Bitcoin and economic education available to everyone in Madeira, and beyond, in Portuguese. Donations like Paystand’s are what help make that mission possible. They are, quite simply, how we keep going and expanding.

Because of this support:
- Portuguese people of every age can keep joining our workshops, from their first questions to taking real responsibility for their own scarce savings.
- Our monthly meetups stay open, giving locals and newcomers a place to learn together and a community to belong to.
- The 160+ local businesses that accept Bitcoin. We provide them with educational flyers, guides in Portuguese, and in-person support whenever they need it.

These are real people benefiting: a retiree asking her first question, a café owner taking his first Lightning payment, a room of neighbours who didn’t know each other a year ago. That is what this donation keeps alive.

To the Paystand team: thank you for believing in this work.

To any organisation that would like to stand with us, we’d be glad to talk: info@freemadeira.org
