I think your ascribing views to me I haven't stated. For the record I do support self-id, the current process for GRC is far too intrusive and over medicallised and it should be reformed. My main concern is the binary (sic) nature of the debate has pushed everything to extremes with most people in the middle too scared to say anything lest they say the "wrong" thing. That is not the context I want legislation to be formed in - that is likely to exacerbate existing harms.
