You know you may be on to something. One time I had to give a speech as a motivational speaker. It started out great in the beginning but the more complexities I talked about the more people were starting to think alright what are they trying to get me to do? I even felt this way once for a job interview which ended up being a pyramid scheme.
It sounded good in the first 10 mins after that I was like pyramid scheme & they wanted to hire me I was like nope! Especially when they said I needed to pay $150 for the product then i'm suppose to sell it for $300.
