I have a .cymru email address. My (English) council's systems won't accept it – I suspect their validation regex hasn't been updated to include more recent TLDs.
I can't talk to anyone in tech – they're not "customer facing" – and explaining this issue to anyone else was clearly going to fail when they said "what does 'dot kim-ru mean?"
You can see Wales from this town, and we all receive Welsh TV and radio better than we get the English stuff.
