The agenda setting is an important dimension to think more about.
My own pref for sortition would be a rolling issues-based jury service model rather than fixed term appointments. Kind of citizen's assembly like the Irish did with the abortion referendum.
Legislation would be needed to safeguard careers.
What I wonder about is the legislative scrutiny dimension.
