i only ever do from-scratch performances, i don't know how to do non-from-scratch performances but it looks very impressive.

i've done so many from-scratch sets now that i end up doing the same stuff each time (so is it really from scratch? i don't care) with usually one "new" thing per performance. i don't really have names for the "songs" i end up accidentally doing but in my head i associate them with one particular riff. like there's the "0 0 -" one, the "seg 8 6" one, the "9 8 3" one (the pasta lick).

I've started to turn some of em into actual tracks on bandcamp now, like "mirror" which was me going home and trying to recreate something i did live. of course at home it ended up much chiller than in the club. so now i see myself as doing live remixes of "mirror" eg: at algofund this week, and it was during mirror that the freestyler jumped on! and he turned it into something completely different which is awesome. so is it mirror anymore? theseus wants a word
