Charlie Kirk was a Christian, ostensibly. It brings me no joy to have to inform everyone that, according to the Bible, Charlie has been told, in no uncertain terms, to depart from Jesus' presence and go to Hell. I don't believe this. But if Charlie's right, that's what's happened to him.
Charlie Kirk was also a sodomite. To say that might sound controversial, but the sin of Sodom was inhospitality, and Charlie was not a friend to the stranger seeking refuge.
Charlie, I'm sorry to say, was rich. And, well, we all know what Jesus said about rich people getting into Heaven, even if Charlie hadn't already been commanded to depart due to his treatment of the least of these. Camels and eyes of needles and so forth.
I wish I were making this up. I wish I could say that Charlie Kirk was rejoicing in the bosom of his Lord. But I'm afraid if Charlie is correct and the Bible is inerrant and Jesus is Lord, that Mr. Kirk is currently getting a personal audience with Satan and His imps.
Now, there's much less about what goes on in Hell in the Bible than people would have you believe. Most of what Christians claim is Biblical on the subject is actually just lifted from Dante and Milton. So there's a chance that Charlie is having a fine time in Hell. Maybe he's having a party with Kissinger and Hitler while making out with Margaret Thatcher. I wouldn't want to speculate.
There's also the outside chance that Charlie, having sold his soul to Satan, is in fact rejoicing in the bosom of his lord, his lord being Lucifer. That is between Charlie and the Morning Star.
But all that rank speculation is beside the point. If Charlie Kirk is correct, he's in Hell. It's pretty cut and dried.
Further, the Bible has some unpleasant things to say about reaping and sowing. Charlie Kirk sowed hatred, violence, bigotry, and turmoil. That it has in turn been visited on him should come as no surprise to any Christian worthy of the name. I wish it weren't so, but what he sowed, so has he reaped.
Of course, I'm not Christian and I don't believe in Hell. So it's not really for me to say. I'll leave Charlie with this wish: rest in piss, fucko.
