Summer is such a great listener. She looks interested and understanding.
I'm feeling old today.
For months I have been testing our well water. In the old days I would have found a local lab and driven a water sample to their business. I would have decided if trusted them or not immediately.
This time I found a highly rated testing entity online. I sent my money and got several fancy test kits in the mail. We followed the instructions and shipped them back. A week later a friendly email came with devastating results.
After trusting that those results were accurate I fixed what was wrong. Several even worse tests followed. It didn't make sense. For good reason.
Our health department rushed a test for us. They found clean drinkable water. They are awesome.
I've been scammed by TapScore.
If I had been dealing with real people this might have worked out better.
How can I trust this digital world?
I shouldn't.
