I remember Parker pens were considered a bit posh back in the day. When I was at school I had a futuristic set of a fountain pen and biro in brushed metal that I was quite proud of.

do people still buy posh pens? (Apart from fountain pen nerds, I know they will spend thousands. I just mean people getting stuff for the office or school). Or do they just pick up a Bic and be done with it? Do many people even write by hand at all now?
