My best year of gym class was when I had the football coach as my gym teacher. He was utterly horrified by girls, especially if the topic of menstruation came up. All you had to say was, "Mr. ___, I've got cr-" and he'd cut you off and tell you to sit down and relax. I spent that whole year sitting on the bleachers. Except for the weeks when we played volleyball, which I kind of enjoyed, oddly enough.
